        We are taught from a very young age that reading is the pathway to success and fulfillment. Most successful people credit reading as a factor in their success. Many of us only find the time to read while traveling, yet the average person watches television for more than two hours a day. Books are treasure chests filled with imagination and truth alike, posting no boundaries or limits to your adventure. Here are some benefits that encourage you to read more. 

1. Reading Reduces Stress :  


        The University of Sussex found that reading can reduce stress levels up to 68%. Reading silently by yourself for sixty minutes a day can help slow down your heart rate and ease tension in muscles. It relaxes you and thus reduces stress. As reading is an essential part of many jobs and degrees, it is easy to forget the joy of reading a book for fun. But, according to the research, reading habits works better than other methods of reducing stress like listening to music, going for a walk, or having a cup of tea. This is because by reading habits, your concentration is increasing, and you are mentally able to get out of your current situation.

2. Reading Improves your Focus and Concentration :   

         One of the major contributors to having poor memory is a lake of concentration. Reading a book is nothing like reading a newspaper, magazine, or even a blog. It takes concentrated effort to sit down with a book and try to understand the information it provides.When you read a novel, all of your attention in the story - the rest of the story moves into the background, and you can immerse yourself in the plot. Try reading 15-20 minutes during early morning better attention.
